OBJECT
These General Terms and Conditions ("GTC") govern the access and use of services offered by Govonos Institute – The Tangible Governance Institute ("the Institute"), accessible via the site govonos.org, by any individual or legal entity acting in a professional, academic, or institutional capacity ("the User").
DEFINITIONS
User
Any individual or legal entity, public or private, who accesses the Institute's services, including publications, training programs, conferences, and research programs offered via the site govonos.org.
Services
Access to academic resources, publications, specialized training programs, interdisciplinary seminars, international conferences, academic cycles, research programs, and dialogue and mediation services offered by the Institute.
Participant
Any individual registered for a training program, conference, seminar, or academic program organized by the Institute. Each Participant must be individually identified at the time of registration and is fully responsible for all actions performed during their participation.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Access to the Institute's services implies the full and complete acceptance of these GTC, which prevail over any other document issued by the User, except for an express written agreement to the contrary.
By accessing the services, the User declares to be duly authorized to enter into contractual or administrative obligations and to possess the necessary legal authorizations. The Institute reserves the right to verify this information at any time and may refuse any access request without justification.
Access to certain services is also subject to the mandatory acceptance and signature of the Govonos Institute Code of Ethics, which defines principles of transparency, good faith, and confidentiality. No access can be finalized without the signature of this document.
REGISTRATION AND ACCESS TO SERVICES
Registration for training programs, conferences, and programs must be done exclusively online via the form available on govonos.org or by direct contact with the Institute at the address mail@govonos.org.
Access to services is granted only after internal account verification and confirmation of successful payment, if applicable.
The User is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
DURATION – TERMINATION
Registration for a program or training is valid for the duration specified at the time of registration.
Subscriptions to recurring services (access to publications, research programs) are valid for a duration of one (1) year and are automatically renewed unless terminated by email at least three weeks before the renewal date.
The service may be suspended or terminated by the Institute in case of non-payment or violation of these GTC or the Code of Ethics.
PRICING AND PAYMENT
The prices are indicated on the website and may be modified at any time. The applicable prices are those in effect at the time of registration.
Payment is made exclusively online via third-party providers such as PayPal or Stripe, or by bank transfer upon request.
No refund will be granted except in case of manifest error or service failure attributable to the Institute.
Govonos Institute is strictly reserved for professional, academic, and institutional use. Consequently, consumer rights of withdrawal do not apply.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The content, structure, databases, publications, training materials, and all tools associated with the platform are the exclusive property of Govonos Institute or its academic partners. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use is strictly prohibited.
Users can access publications and training materials only within the framework of their personal, academic, or professional use and cannot redistribute them without prior written authorization.
Any citation or reference to the Institute's work must adhere to prevailing academic standards and clearly mention the source.
PERSONAL DATA
Govonos Institute commits to protecting personal data in accordance with Swiss law and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.
The collected data are used exclusively for the functioning and management of services. The legal basis for processing is the execution of the contract between the Institute and the User, as well as the legitimate interest in promoting academic research and ethical governance.
The data are retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and then archived for five years for probatory purposes.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Institute does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information provided in the context of its academic and research services. The contents are provided for informational and educational purposes.
Its liability can only be engaged in case of proven direct fault attributable to the Institute.
The Institute cannot be held liable for any indirect damage, loss of profit, or commercial prejudice resulting from the use of services. The services are provided 'as is', without any express or implied warranty of performance or continuous availability.
FORCE MAJEURE
The Institute cannot be held liable for any failure to fulfill its obligations resulting from a force majeure event as defined by Swiss and European jurisprudence.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These GTC are governed by Swiss law. In case of dispute, the competent courts of Geneva, Switzerland, shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
In case of divergence between the different language versions of these GTC, the French version shall prevail.
